Speaking up against our would be soviet overlords.
My OS drive is small, it simply does not, and CAN NOT have enough space to install some games that I have purchased. This is a pain because I don't want to install it there to begin with. I am trying to install a game into drive D, which has plenty of space. But the installation fails due to lack of space on drive C.

Is there any way to make SDC use another drive as a temp dir?

You bet - in SDC go to Tools -> Settings -> Advanced.

Change the Downloads and Archive/Restore location fields to somewhere on your D: drive and that should fix you up.

thanks a bunch. Now I can install those games .

It would also probably be a good idea to make it automatically use something like "D:\temp" or "E:\temp" if there is insufficient space on the drive its on, to avoid frustrating non technical users.

I agree.
