Speaking up against our would be soviet overlords.

On tax day I went to the Tea Party protest in Grand Prairie... I met some friends there.

I am a Hebrew (the race of jews), the guys I met were asian and latino... The speakers came from every possible color and creed you can imagine... There was a distinct lack of rich white old men or "rednecks" (which I never understood the animosity against).

What shocked me the most though is when I told my youngest brother (who will be graduating high-school this month)... he learned in school that the Tea Party is just a bunch of bigoted rich white old men, and that the Tea Party itself is all about racism. I explained to him what it is really about. When I asked where he learned what he though he know about them the response was "everyone says so".

I shouldn't have had to explain that. (and by that I mean he shouldn't have been told lies about the Tea Party in school and in the media). I blame the slanderous lies perpetuated by the leftist propaganda networks (some call them news networks but that is a lie)

Sounds like your little brother is getting the standard NEA indocrination.

On a brighter note. My nephew is a history teacher, and a conservative. He helps his students get an alternate view of issues so they can make informed decisions.

Hey guys,

I'm sure you'll find this link very interesting

Chuck, that was a good link. I wish more minorities would understand this. A lot of folks seem to be lulled into that "I'm a victim" mentality. They are never going to feel equality if they are treated as a "special" group member and others will have a hard time seeing it too. Treat everyone the same and slam those that don't or try to abuse someone.

Sounds like your brother is being taught by a bigot.

"everyone says so".  I remember those days.  Yea, I do not miss school indoctrination.  It makes me appreciate the good teachers even more.

Rich white men tend to be satisfied Democrats, not protesters worried about how much they pay in taxes. Why would a multi-millionaire care about tax increases? He is set for life. Tax increases will only be felt by his employees.

And the Hebrew race is on the receiving end anyway. When whites rules and blacks served, Jews were considered non-white by the racists (they still refer to their own as "non-Jewish whitw"). Not in the age of political correctness, Jews are considered white. (Arabs are "brown", apparently.)
