Speaking up against our would be soviet overlords.

If I win the reward from the arena, a sword called mehrune or nehrune (forgot which) (edit: reloaded and now it says "heartseeker" is the swords name), I am offered a chance to fight some obsidian golems and if I win he will "teach your smithes my craft" (whatever that means)

I went for it, beat the golems and I didn't get the sword. I have no idea if he taught my smithes anything either.

I think that you do not get the sword, at least i didnt see in sov inventory, so probably a bug. Regarding golems, when you defeat them, check the unit design screen weapon tab (check also armor tab, if i remember well you should get new armor equipment) and you will see some legendary equipment

Also if you have plenty of gold, you can buy these weapons in shop for your champions....

Just a word of warning: Might not want to complete the final leg of this quest currently anyways since it bugs all following save-games making them unloadable and thus forcing you to win the game afterwards without a further save / reload / crash... (as visible in another thread...)

And your smiths do get the ability to equip all your units with legendary weapons (not sure about armor, very nice if that is possible...) if you do complete the quest. Still a bad idea. For a reason, see above.

Not sure if you are supposed to get more than one reward from the quest (since all the other fights are either/or...). So might be WaD in this case.

So that is the problem with savegames?

Good to know...

Yeah, I had thought it was late games and large empires, but it is true, the games didn't start bugging out until I completed that Arena quest.

Indeed, my game became corrypt right after that (and I didn't get the sword either).
